Decorative paint systems commonly referred to as “Italian paint” are applied in layers to create colour transitions, depth, sheen, mattness and textural movement, unlike standard interior wall paint. The product system and application technique are selected according to the intended appearance.
Before application begins, we check wall flatness, existing paint layers, cracks and surface absorbency, and finalise the colour and texture using a small sample. This helps ensure the result works not only with the catalogue colour, but also with the light and materials in the space.

Colour tone, texture intensity and sheen level are determined with the furniture, flooring, lighting and natural daylight of the space in mind.
Before the main application, the selected system is prepared on a small sample surface so that the colour, trowel movement and finish can be evaluated together.
Repairs, filling, sanding, primer and base coats are applied where required to create an even substrate for the decorative finish.
Depending on the selected effect, layers are applied in a controlled way using a trowel, spatula, brush or specialised tools.
Depending on the product system, polishing, wax, varnish or a suitable protective finish is applied; masking is removed and the surface undergoes a final inspection.
Decorative paint is not simply a colour application like standard roller paint. The result depends on managing surface preparation, waiting times between coats, hand movements and finishing processes together.
We measure the application area and determine the existing condition of the wall and the preparation work required.
We select the colour family, texture movement and matt/gloss level together to suit the space.
We apply the selected look to a small sample surface and approve it before moving on to the main wall.
After protection and masking, we complete the required repairs, filling, sanding, primer and base-coat work.
We apply the decorative layers in the sequence required by the selected technique, controlling drying between coats and the surface movement.
We apply the required protective topcoat, complete detail touch-ups and cleaning, and prepare the surface for handover.
The following operations are included in the application plan as required by the condition of the surface. Rather than adding unnecessary layers, we proceed according to the needs of the selected product system.
Decorative paint is often used on focal points such as TV walls, entrance halls, headboard walls or reception walls. If a more cohesive look is desired, the same texture can also be applied to larger surfaces with different tonal intensities.
The system used in wet areas or areas requiring frequent wiping is assessed separately; decorative finishes are not a substitute for waterproofing.
